Course contents:

Life cycle of projects - from conception, to planning, implementing, monitoring, and final delivery of projects. Project scheduling – network models, mathematical programming, decision analysis under conditions of certainty and uncertainty. Planning and control of resources - mathematical models and approximate methods. Principles of Costing - costing based on the volume and cost-based activities. Construction Management - planning, organization, direction and control. Applications in available software using data from actual projects.

Laboratory Exercises:

  • One lab exercise, individual reports: 100% of the Lab grade

Assessment and grading method:

  • Lab work, 10% of the grade
  • Project, 20% of the grade
  • Final open-book written exam, 70% of the grade
