Course contents:

  • Introduction to Matlab. Νumerical operations – Variables - Complex Numbers - M-files - Functions - Recursive procedures - External files - Matrices - Polynomials - Charts. Symbolic Variables and Computations - Derivatives - Integrals. Plots – 2 and 3-Dimensional Symbolic Graphs -  Linear system solutions using Sympolic Math Toolbox. Laboratory  lectures on Unix platforms.

Laboratory exercises:

  • Eight Lab exercises
  • Three lab exams: 100% of Lab grade

Assessment and grading method:

  • Lab work, 20% of the grade
  • Final closed-book written exam, 80% of the grade
