  • 2008: M.Sc.: Energy and Environmental Chemical Technologies, General Department, Department of Chemistry, Technical University of Crete.
  • 2005: Degree in Environmental Engineering, School of Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete.

Research Interests

Conducting research in the area of environmental technology and specifically in the contaminant transport as well as colloids and nanoparticles transport in porous media, subsurface formations and generally in environmental systems.

Furthermore, conducting research in the area of environmental catalysis, materials and air pollution with the aim of synthesizing and developing new improved catalytic materials and devices for the effective reduction of gaseous pollutant emissions.

Participation in Research Programmes and Projects

  • «Development of new catalysts for the efficient De-NOx abatement of automobile exhaust purifications», with the acronym "CatEfDeNOX" and project code: T7DKI-0035, Technical University of Crete, School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, (2020-2021).
  • European project "RECARE - Preventing and remediating degradation of soils in Europe", with a special focus on the "Study of prevention and remediation of soil degradation due to the effect of salinization",  Technical University of Crete, School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, (2014-2016).
