Research Interests

Conducting research on energy saving in buildings and in built environment:

  • Quality of internal environment: thermal and visual comfort. Air quality. Energy demand.
  • Assessment Indexes for energy saving in buildings. Green buildings. Zero emission buildings. 
  • Urban environment and climate change. Urban heat island phenomenon. Technologies to improve quality.  
  • Energy management systems. Measurement and control of microclimatic conditions of the built environment.
  • Design and installation of environmental monitoring networks in buildings and urban environments.
