12 Staff Members of our School ranked as the World’s Top 2% scientists

As last year, so this year 11 Staff Members of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete (almost half of the Schools’ Faculty) are recognized on the list of the Stanford University  “World’s Top 2% Scientists” based on the bibliometric study by John P.A. Ioannidis (2023). This list is updated annually and presents the ranking of the world’s most cited researchers and those who are among the top 2% of more than eight million scientists worldwide within their specialty areas (22 major fields and 176 subfields) and who have published at least 5 papers. It was published on October 4, 2023 by Elsevier and was based on data from Scopus.

 

Eleven Staff Members of our School are for 2022 in the list of the top 200.409 scientists worldwide, who are either in the first 100,000 positions of the ranking, or belong to the top 2% worldwide in their scientific area. These are (in order of ranking):
